We're thinking of taking DS to the aquarium for the first time next Friday because his daycare is closed for a faculty planning day. Any tips on taking a 2 year old? For instance, is it worth buying the ticket to the Dolphin Show? Do you usually take a stroller when you go? Can you bring in snacks?
Photographer friends - Any tips on getting good pictures of him staring into the huge aquarium? What settings would we need to use?
Thanks!
Re: Any Aquarium Tips?
Thanks ladies! I just found this about the Dolphin Tales show on the Ga Aquarium website:
While our AT&T Dolphin Tales gallery is appropriate for all ages, the show utilizes video, strobe and flash lighting, special effects and loud noises which may not be appropriate for very young children or those under the age of 3.
So, yeah, maybe not good for my 2 year old... It does say
General admission Aquarium tickets allow access to the dolphin viewing gallery at various times throughout the day at no additional cost. Ask a team member at the gallery entrance for those times on the day of your visit.
So, maybe we'll just do gen admin and look into going to the dolphin viewing gallery without the show.
