I'm interested in looking at cloth diapering but I really want to find a blog post/article that gives a little bit of information on how you store them/ clean them and I don't want to read something too brand specific. I want to see a few different types of brands. I just want a good piece to read because I know nothing about cloth diapering besides the old fashioned pin it on the sides cloth diapers that people used to handwash. Haha. I know technology is better than that now..
Re: More information?
I am new to cloth diapering too- and this is my first, so I can't offer too much advice, but I've found a few resources that have really helped me out! The first one is the Cloth Diapering 101 series by Jaimee Gleisner (https://www.youtube.com/user/JaimeeGleisner) on youtube. She has 7 videos, it reviews pretty much every common type of diaper (style, not brand), goes over washing techniques, how to store, EVERYTHING. She makes it really simple. When you get to the point where you want more information, I liked the diaperswappers.com forums. There are a lot of nice ladies on there that have a lot of great advice! Plus, they have a section for buying and selling used cloth diapers. That's where I built up most of my stash! Hope that helps.
ETA: I see you're looking for something more to read. https://www.the-cloth-diaper-connection.com/index.html The cloth diaper connection was my favorite for that! They have a bunch of different angles too- how to CD on a budget was really helpful for me!
I'm here kind of checking out helpful ideas as well because we are thinking of cloth diapering as well but this website has helped me a lot https://www.bumritediapers.com/ I really like that they have packages available. It's helped me to feel like I kind of know what we'll need before the baby comes.
Good Luck!
