.80 center stone with a .25 on each side. My new band is a wrap that is .75 of smaller diamonds. And even though it will go all the way to my knuckle, the jeweler is holding a matching wrap for the other side to make it a full circle. My mother says it's too big on my size 4 finger, but I guess I am gawdy because I love it.
My ering is a smidge under 1.5 - princess cut solitaire. No idea the carat weight of my wedding band or my "push" present ring (which I bought myself, so I guess doesn't count as a push present, lol)

1.25 carats, with two sapphires, .5 carats I think, each. He knew quality was more important to me than quantity, so it's flawless, D color. How do I know (people always ask, HTF do I know)? Well, we had to bring the little certificate to get it insured.
I think my center stone is only 1/4 carat. DH proposed *right* after he graduated from college and hadn't started working yet, so it's on the smaller side. He actually bought a 1.25 carat a few years later (to swap out) as a Christmas present, but I declined. It seemed romantic at the time to keep the original. Now I kind of wish I'd kept it and turned the old one into a pendant or something
My center stone is 1/4 c. Then there are 6 small stones wrapped, and 12 that form 'v's on either side. The center stone was bought as an 'I love you' solitaire on our 1 yr dating anniversary and H 'stole' it (I thought it was seriously stolen - we had a house full of people and I had taken if off while baking an put it in the window) and had it reset. My wedding band is just a shadow band on one side.
Honestly, I think it all fits my hand/finger well. I'm not sure that I'd trade up, if given a couple grand to do so.
1 carat center stone for my e-ring - just a round solitaire. I had my wedding band custom made as a wrap, so it added a pear shape on either side of the main stone, plus a channel set band. I think the additional diamonds add another carat.
3 stone ring - all rounds. Center is 1.28, sides are .495 each so a total of 2.25 and my wedding band has .75 in it - 7 rounds channel set in the band (so ering and band total 3.02. 3 is my fave #! LOL). It's a chevron cut so it "dips" (it's curved) below my center stone so the bands fit together. I do love my rings but of course, want bigger. No such thing as a diamond that's too big, IMO!
The center stone is about .5 with 2 small baguettes on the side. I had my wedding band custom made to fit around my ring since it's an unusual shape, and we used some stones from a cocktail ring my great aunt gave my mother so it has some nice family significance. Together they are probably around 1 carat. I have tiny hands so it works for me.
My original ring was a 1.5 ct. princess cut center stone set in platinum with a .25 ct. baguette side stones on each side. I got an upgrade as a push present when P was born and now have a 3.5 ct. center stone, in the original setting. So, 4 cts. all together. Six if you count my wedding band, which is an eternity band.
.62 carat round solitaire on my engagement ring. My wedding ring is channel set sapphires and diamonds, nothing big. I wouldn't say no to an upgrade on my e-ring, but my fingers are really short and a huge diamond might look weird.

I'm with Jodi. At the time the jeweler told us that my ring was as big as I should go with my hand, because my diamond is actually a size 4, and they made it a 1/4 size smaller. DH didn't want to hear it and wanted to get a bigger stone, but he went with the one I have. It's a D color so it's 3 good stones. But now I wish he did get a bigger one like he wanted. How could a diamond be too big??
It's a little over half. H wanted quality over size and and he had to go smaller on the diamond to work the platinum setting into the budget. I have a pretty thick band with a bezel setting so it's quite a bit of metal. I have a weird pH and turn white gold to gold within a few weeks, so I wanted platinum so it would stay white.
1 carat princess solitaire and a band w/ small diamonds. But DH did his homework and it's a very high quality diamond. It's been 11.5 years, I don't remember which C's they are, but it sparkles. : )
People always ask how you know? Never once have I been asked "how I know"....because the "flawlessness" of my diamond (which it is) is not something I would ever mention to someone! Classy!
Princess cut 1.5 center stone, then a .5 on each side.
Wedding band is 1c of princess cut diamonds
Honeymoon present is an eternity band. I wear this on my right hand. I wanted it as my wedding band but it didn't look right with my ring. So dh got me one on our honeymoon.
I like Zenya's idea of PIPs (even though I can't pip right now). I especially want to drool over Goose's rings
My engagement ring is a 1 ct total. Princess cut center stone with small princess cut stones next to it. Wedding band is 1/2 ct of more princess cut stones. I, too have been hinting for the upgrade.
I am honestly not sure what mine is, it was DH's grandmothers ring she gave it him after she met me, she passed away 5 days later. My wedding band is .25 carats. For our 10 yr he suggested upgrading, not sure I want too.
Re: Shallow/nosey s/o: How big was your e-ring?
1.5 carats total in a 3 stone ring -- center stone .75

A bit over a carat (I forget-maybe 1.25?) with diamonds set in the band around it. Think Tacori, but not quite.
ETA: That's the center stone. I have no idea how much it is all together.

.75 carat for the center stone and then .25 on the side and then the band is I think .50
I am totally lobbying for a gaudy right hand ring for our 10 year

It's a little over a carat, princess cut solitaire. I, too, prefer quality over size. Not sure how many carats are in my wedding band.
Not that you asked, it's not what I would pick today, but I do think it is representative of who we were at the time, what we could afford, etc.
If I could pick today, I'd pick a super fat sapphire. Instead, I will settle for one for my 30th birthday.

Radiant cut solitaire - a little over 1 carat. Another carat in my wedding band.
It is .81 ct round cut solitaire, cathedral setting.
Great quality, but I can't remember right off the top of my head.
Reminds me i need to go get it insured. Wonder if I can find that certificate...

It's 1c with a few along the sides.

Princess cut 1.5 center stone, then a .5 on each side.
