Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Anyone else have a screamer?

My DS doesn't know how to cry. He goes from 0-1000 in seconds. He'll be 3 months on the 13th. He's always been this way.  It's usually if he's REALLY hungry or REALLY tired..but over the last few days it seems like he's randomnly doing it..I know there is a 3 month growth spurt don't know if this is part of it or not.

DH's sister babysat tonight and said he screamed so bad (two times but just for a minute or two) she was going to call 911 cuz he couldn't breathe then she started crying..ugh!

Re: Anyone else have a screamer?

  • DD does seem to go from happy to screaming in an instant. I don't know why though, sorry!

  • Ugh! This is TOTALLY my DD. I love her dearly, but man has she got some lungs on her. Her face turns red, and she wails really loud. It can be really frustrating because she'll do it whenever anyone new holds her... Needless to say, they quickly "pass her back to mama" when she does that. Embarrassed

I hope it passes at some point because it tends to stress me out. And I would LOVE if other people could enjoy her/hold her someday!!

Also, she is 3 months old, too.

  • My DS is just like this and he'll be 4 months on the 13th. He started doing this about a month ago too. He will go from happy to screaming bloody murder in seconds and there isn't always something wrong. It stresses my DH out because he has no idea what to do when he is like that. It seems to be getting better though. He is finally calming down a lot quicker than before. A few weeks ago he would do that for an hour before I could get him to go to sleep. He would also start screaming any time my dad would hold him and I really don't know why. Thankfully that is getting better too because I really want him to enjoy being around his Grandpa!
