Got a text this am that a close friend's water broke last night. Haven't heard anything since..... I want to call and check on her.... Would you?

    I would send a text back also. She could either still be in labor or bonding with the baby. For some reason I feel like texts can wait for me to check/respond to at my leisure where as a phone call I might answer it because someone is calling when it's really not a good time to talk.
