New here - picking yet another SG donor (anyone else doing DE at SG?)

Hi all, a friend from another board recommended this board to me.

I've been pregnant 10-times with my own eggs - worked only once. After all those losses we decided to try DE.

First I participated in a frozen egg study at GIVF in Virginia. I only had to pay for meds, all alse was free. Out of 8 eggs, 5 were transfered (the others died at some point in the thawing and fertilizing process). And two weeks of panic and octuplets nightmares later, I got BFN

Then I went refinanced the house and paid a ton of money to Shady Grove for all inclusive shared risk program. I'm just in the process of picking my third donor.

Anyone else from SG here?

I'm sorry for everything you have been through!

We went through the DE Shared Risk program at SG.  We were in the 1:2 split program.  Our first cycle was unsuccessful - we used my DH's sperm and had a really low fertilization rate.  We transferred 2 embryos, but it was a BFN.  (We hadn't realized from our previous cycles how much of a sperm problem we had.)  We cycled again with the same egg donor and also used DS.  We had a good number of eggs and great fertilization.  We transferred one day 5 embryo, and our cycle was successful.  We have two frozen embryos.

The donor selection process went pretty smoothly for us, especially since we were able to use the same donor twice.  We were really happy with her.  When I first looked at the list of donors, I was kind of disappointed, but I just kept watching the list, and I signed up for this donor immediately after her profile was posted.

Just wondering - why have you had to pick three different donors?  I really wish you the best!

 I'm going thru my third DE cycle. That's why I need to choose a new donor.
