Not that I would ever wish for a child to be born with special needs, but she and her H are SO into being perfect in every way (forcing herself to eat super healthy meals even when she's sobbing and miserable puking at eating them?!) that I have to wonder what would happen if their baby was born with a visible birth defect or any other sort of health issue.

I feel like she's in for a rude awakening far more than most.

what pisses me off is her implication that complications and m/c can be prevented if the mother would just do the "right" things during pregnancy.

I can offer her first hand expetience that this is not the case.

she needs to stfu and hope she never has to learn how ineffective all these things are in the face of a genetic defect or other pregnancy complication.

I normally really hate it when people say things like "just wait until you have the baby" because I find that statement condecending and rude.

But just wait until she has the baby, and concepts like showering/brushing teeth/wearing non-spit-up-on clothing become distant memories for a good while.

I just started remembering to brush my hair every morning.

That photo is hilarious. It looks like an ad for one of those bizarre products in Sky Mall Magazine that you get for free on flights. Overly 'shopped and plastic.

Also, what is with her husband? Is it just me or does he look different (and douchey-er) in every picture of him? 

I remember YM. I loved that magazine, until my mom saw they had articles about sex and stopped buying it for me when I was about 12.
