* wft Rachael. Why did you leave your favorite black tank top and black shorts at home (Chicago) last week? Now you won't get them unless MIL mails them or you go down again (which won't be for 3 weeks). In 3 weeks in WI it will probably be back in the dang 50s by then

Wtf mom's car!!! Yesterday the a/c just decides to stop working in 100 degree heat with 2+ hours to go until we got to LA. We stop at a mechanic, he can't do anything and tells us we have to take it to the dealer. So we make an appt at Nissan. Go out this morning and the effing a/c is working just fine.. No problems at all!! So thanks mom's car, for making us miserable, cranky and sweaty for no reason!!

Wtf idiots at work! Can I just say that sometimes it sucks being an auditor at a credit union! Freaking people constantly have the same errors over and over, I send elaborate emails with instructions/guidelines breakdowns/variations of "use your common sense" pep talks, and then, a week, later it's the same thing! So now I get to do branch visits next week to sit with the idiot people and hold their hand and try to walk them through this sh*t. Wtf is up with retraining people that have been here for 8 years? Grrrrr....they're not paying me to be a babysitter around here!

Wtf is up with my self employed side job- I don't think I can handle doing baby/maternity pictures anymore! Why is everyone having a baby right now but me? On a break right now, but overwhelmed with appointment requests. Ugh. Blowinig everyone off...

WTF is everyone up to today?  The lack of activity on this board has forced me to venture into "fertile" territory and it's not pretty out there!  I am going to slit my wrists by the end of the day if I'm forced to read about anymore girls who are already planning their next baby while they're two months KU with their first!

I wasn't here when there was only one board, so I don't have anything to compare to and sometimes I feel weird posting on this board because I've really only been around for about four months, but I agree, it's super slow.  I wish it was because everyone was moving on to PAIF, but lately I don't think that's the case unfortunately.

I could not have said it better (as I rub my feet...ouch)!  I am well.  No hang over, I limited my drinks to 2 last night.  :-( 

Now as to you, I am determined to talk you off of that "fertile lurking" ledge!!  It is not healthy.    ...and I know this from experience!!

...and I do agree, it is very s.l.o.w lately!

Rachael, I am inclined to agree with you.  While I remember a slow period last summer, I really don't remember it being like this.  Of course it could be a coincidence, with summer vacays and an increase in work for some.  But lately, I have not posted quite as much either...::shrugging shoulders::

I think that a HUGE part of it is that there are soooo many who have moved on to PAIF/SAIF. While I don't blame them for moving on, I imagine they still feel weird posting here even if it's supposed to be a joint board. Plus, like yousaid, vacays, work...I'm finally at the point at work where I know I can post again. For months there I had no time whatsoever. I'm thinking about jumping back over just to get some more conversations.

how about- I got a text from one of mu students (I am a college level instructor) yesterday saying she missed me- which was sweet- I had my iui yesterday.

but when I get there today- she says-  have you ever seen the movie Lean on Me with Morgan Freeman?  I said yeah- she said that was the way the students were acting with the substitute...lol, wtf.

WTF pet food?

I went to the grocery store and bought a bunch of stuff, then I went to the PetSmart and bought ONE bag of dog food and ONE bag of cat food.  The total was more than I spent in the grocery store!  How did my spoiled rotten animals develop food allergies?!?!

WTF TNT?

For years, I have watched reruns of Law & Order on the TV in our kitchen in the early evenings while I clean up and cook dinner.  Lately, TNT keeps changing the schedule so that I can't figure out when it's on and running shows that I hate like Bones and Charmed.  WTF?  There is nothing on between 5pm and 7pm any more!!
