Sleep Class at ISIS?

I took a birthing class through ISIS maternity. Have you taken the sleep support one? It's a one day 2 hr. workshop and I was wondering if it was worth the $45. At this point, I am pretty welcome to whatever help I can get.

I literally just came to the board to post this exact same question!!!! I am thinking about taking the class. $45 seems like a lot but if it helps get my baby to sleep I'd pay millions!

hubby and i took when i was around 30 weeks preg. I thought they gave some good tips but in hindsight, i probably would have waited and taken it after LO was born. I suppose it might depend on how confident or how much experience you have with LO and putting them down. It's def. great to get off on the right foot but the first few weeks are so 'random' I feel the class didn't help much.

The best overall tips I got was to completely get rid of light at night. And late afteroon light (sun or indoor lights) will help to set their sleep clock to go down at night.

In general, I found it interesting and got some good tips. HTH!

I would wait till you have lo, my lo is a very very bad sleeper and nothing helps. At least you will know what kind of sleeper you will have. A few people I know had the individual sleep consults, they said it was only a little bit helpful. If they had the answers to babies sleeping they would be rich and the class would cost more than 45 bucks.

I can't comment on the class, but I did the individual sleep consult because we had an AWFUL time with sleeping. It helped a lot. It was around $100 and honestly it was the best money I've ever spent. DD is a great sleeper now!
