Nightsweats?

I know that nightsweats happen commonly when you're breastfeeding, but I was just wondering if they ever go away. DS is nearly 4 months old and I plan on breastfeeding him until he's over a year, so am I going to be waking up in a cold sweat every night until we wean? If you had nightsweats and they went away, when did it happen? It's not so bad now, but I can't imagine it's going to be great in January.
