Two Under 2

Sharing love...

Did anyone have concern with this? Maybe its silly, im just so concerned about how im gong to split my time and love between my two boys. Having a newborn is a lot of work, my 1 year old is my baby right now and im so worried he will feel like i dont love him anymore...

Re: Sharing love...

  • It's not dividing. It's multiplying. I promise. I think we all worried about it but you really don't need to. It's just one of those things that you can't understand until it happens. I promise you will have so much love for both of them.

Spoken so beautifully and SO TRUE!!

I think every mom regardless of the spacing of her children has this same fret with the impending arrival of the 2nd child.

Take heart... people would never have a 3rd or 4th if it wasn't possible to fill them up with plenty-o-love.

I was rolled into my c-section with tears down my face thinking primarily of my first child and how he was going to handle all the change that was coming.  When they put the new baby on my chest I looked straight at DH and said:  "I'm not done.  I want another one."

It's the most amazing thing...... EVER!!!

You'll figure it all out.  Your heart will not betray you or either of your children, I promise.

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
