Aaron is finally feeling better from his ear infection and is no longer crying "Boo Boo" and tugging at his right ear.
And he has a best bud at preschool/daycare! This is week 4 of his part-time daycare (3 days a week from 9-11:30 am) and he didn't cry today when I left and he hung out with one other toddler most of the time.
In a few weeks, he'll move up a room--I hope that transition is smooth.

Glad he is doing better!
It was funny, Noah is in preschool and is moving up next week to his new room and he is not happy about it. Noah is really easy going about stuff and I'm dreading this . I'm glad Aaron is doing well.
We are still awaiting Finn's EI assessment. My poor kid is having the worst time. I hope we get one soon
I'm very happy to hear about Aaron's progress as they sound incredibly similar except that Finn has less language and still won't eat table food.
4 weeks is not bad at all!
I'm glad Aaron is feeling better!
I hope Finn's EI assessment is soon so you can get a start with things. I've had all my meetings now (the family information meeting and the IFSP/individualized family service plan). Aaron will have speech therapy 1x per week and will see a special ed teacher / developmental interventionist 2x per week.
Aaron has a lot of words but isn't at level with them. And he's behind socially and cognitively--as well as in other areas. The DI will help him catch up overall. It would be nice if he tried new foods--he eats but only a few things. He mostly survives on yogurt, fruit and bread.
I don't have a start date yet for the therapies but was told it would be within 30 days of signing the IFSP--which was 7/28. So by the end of the month at the latest.

Just butting my nose in here, girls. Have you tried those toddler/baby foods that come in packets that they have to sort of drink? Happy Tots and a few other brands? This kind of thing:

I keep a few around when Charlie's pissy and he thinks it's kind of fun to eat. I've seen even bigger kids eating applesauce in packets like this.
C's still a major fussy eater, but he's starting to get a little better about it.. sometimes. Heck, he even ate mac and cheese the other night.. which is a major milestone for him.
