What a waste of a day.

I'm sitting at home without DD. Why? B/c my stupid hand stab wound is infected. I've been to the ER twice and the care is so poor, I refuse to go back. So, I told my work that I needed the morning off, and I went to my primary dr. She finally saw me at 11 am only to tell me she's too nervous to do anything (ie remove stitches, drain it, etc) so she's referring me to an ortho dr at 2 pm. So now my whole day is SHOT. I'm using 8 hours of PTO which is ALL I have since mat leave sucked me dry. So much for using this time I've spent 3 months building up for something nice like a day off for vacation. Ugh. DD is at daycare until I get done with this appt at 2. I didn't want to drag her along when I don't know what they are going to do to me.

I just hope the doctor takes care of this problem so I don't have to miss anymore work or waste more time!
