CD Moms

I am loving cloth diapers.  I still get a few side eyes, but for the most part my friends are starting to come around.  Last weekend my MIL thought she was helping me rinse the diaper out by placing it in the toilet.  I was so grossed out when I had to fish it out.  Anyway, I am a little scared about when we start solids.  For some reason, spraying the diapers down is intimidating me a little bit.  I like how easy BF poop is with  just throwing it all in the wash.

One of the moms on PAL (parenting after a loss) created an invention that will help eliminate poo being sprayed everywhere.  I hope I am not offending anyone with posting this, but I think some of you CD moms might really appreciate this.

Here is a demo if you want to check it out.

Re: CD Moms

  • I've been CDing for going on 20 months now and I don't have a sparyer and I've survived. I scrape out the diapers with a plastic knife and wash my hands when I'm done. Also my MIL does the toilet bowl swish and since it goes right into the diaper pail it doesn't bother me at all.

Neat invention though....but with a toddler around it's one more thing that could be broken in my house!

  • My upstairs bathroom is a little small so I'm resisting the sprayer.  I kind of want to do the flushable liners instead.

  • Where do you put it to dry off?  That would be my question.
Just another "thing" to have around the bathroom.  It's great if you have the space and all, but I am the diaper spraying ninja.  NINJA, I tell you!!  NINJA!

Just remember *not* to turn the sprayer on full blast.  Just a little teeny tiny turn is all it takes for my BG sprayer.

I was one who was freaking out about the idea of solid poop, but it's not as bad as I made it out to be.
