Elin Margaret

I am days away from giving birth and we have finally settled on the name Elin Margaret.  My background is Swedish and Elin is a family name on my grandfather's side.  It's pronounced Ee-lynn.

My mil is Margaret.  Honest opinions please!  We haven't yet shared with family or friends.

Elin is my niece's name! We have a Swedish background also. I love it! It's unusual in this country, and closely tied to our heritage, but is still works well in English. My sister briefly considered Margaret as a MN and I encouraged it-- I really like the combo-- but she went with something else.

I think this is a beautiful name, however I do think of Tiger's ex Elin Nordegrin.  I read a lot of celeb gossip, though.  I love the name- great choice!

Only thing I think of when I hear Elin is Tiger Woods. But its a beautiful name.

Elin is a very very very pretty name. Right now I associate it with the Tiger Woods scandal, but I think that will def fade soon
