UGH!!! I HATE MONDAYS!!!!!  So I had to go into town today, which is about 25 miles from where we live, and the whole way in our one and only vehicle was making really really weird noises.  So I made the few stops I had to and I hit a construction area road bump and the noise finally stopped HAHA I left the grocery store and was heading home, 2 miles outside of town I realized the jeep was getting hard to steer and I looked at the dash and the battery light, check engine light, and temperature light were all on so I hurried and pulled over. 

I called DF right away and just started bawling trying to tell him everything that was going on and he's just being so sweet telling me it's ok and he was going to leave work asap to come help me.  Well we live in the oil field area middle of nowhere and it's 95 degrees and humid as he!!, but all I have to say is there are some of the nicest people up here that kept stopping to see if I was ok and if I had help on the way.  Unfortunately it took DF and his boss 45 mins to get to me due to working 20 mins away and a car accident on the road that had traffic stopped. 

One nice man that stopped and looked under the hood found the problem and told me the idler pulley had busted that holds the serpentine belt in place.  Good to know because we can't afford to take our jeep into a shop to get repaired, so we bought the part and 3 1/2 hours after breaking down we finally got our jeep fixed and running!!!

DF's jeep is almost 17 yrs old and we've been talking about getting a new vehicle that is safe for baby and I..  Well I think we will be going car shopping very soon!!

Anyone want to recommend their vehicle?! Didn't mean for this to be so long, I just needed to vent!
