DH and I both went to Penn State. My dad actually works for the university and we recieved a tuition discount of 75%! My parents paid for the remainder, I am very  lucky to not have any loans.

My parents also paid for my apartment but I worked PT to pay for groceries, going out, clothes, fun, ect...

Both DH and I both went to a small private colleges north of Chicago. I would have been done paying my student loan for undergrad after 10 years but I went to a private university for grad school which was all student loans for my MA.

I went to a local 2 year college.  I was the oldest of 3 and my mom was a single mom so I got a lot of assistance and my mom paid almost all of rest.  I only took out a $4,500 loan and it is long paid off.
