Kitchen Mops

I usually mop the kitchen with a good old sponge on my hands and knees but recently I haven't had the time so I have been using my swiffer wet jet.  I really dislike that I go through 6 pads while doing it.  Such a waste.  

So, what type of mop do you use and why.  I need a new one and was going to go to the store today.

Definitely a splurge, but I love my shark steam mop on my wood & tile.  The pads are washable, and it uses steam instead of chemicals to clean.  Its very quick too.  I used a 20% coupon at Bed Bath &Beyond and got a pretty decent deal.

I use a steam mop now most of the time, but sometimes feel like doing it the old fashioned way so I have a sponge mop that I just love.  I can't remember the name of it, but it's cheap and they carry them at Walmart and Target.  Red handle, with a blue sponge.  It picks up everything.

We have the Shark Steam Mop, too! It's awesome and gets the floors clean quickly. We have the model that allows you to flip the cleaning heads over to use the other side...it also comes with a triangle head. Also have the Shark vacuum cleaner and hand steamer...love them!

I heard that the Envirosteamer is the best steam mop. But, the shark is pretty in purple.
