any baby food makers use the baby bullet?

i just saw the infomercial.  It looks pretty cool. But I am always skeptical of the as seen on tv products.  If you have it, is it worth it?

  • I haven't seen the infomercial, but based on looking at it in the store, I added it to my registry.

  • I think they probably work well, but for me it's easier to make a large batch and just store in baby food containers already on hand (vs using a blender for each individual, tiny cup of food).  This is how I did it for my son and plan on doing it for the girls, too, just dump it all into my food processor and go!

  • I use a blender and ice cube trays that way I can make bigger batches all at one time. I already had a blender so I decided to use that rather than go out and buy something new.

  • I have the magic bullet, which is just like the baby minus the containers, and I rarely use it for baby food.  I prefer my blender or Cuisinart so I can make larger batches.  And then I put in ice cube trays or baby food jars and freeze.

  • I have it and my babies just started eating solids. I like it so far! I have been using it to make food in advance and freeze it. Plus, it comes with containers for the freezer and is BPA free. Also, it was buy one get one free when I ordered.

  • I just used a blender and/or the normal Magic Bullet and ice cube trays. Once the cubes were frozen I put them into labelled freezer ziploc bags.

This.  My girls blew through purees so it was easier for me to make them once a week in huge batches.

I have a blender with a small cuisinart attachment that I'd use too.  I don't know how the size of the small cuisinart compares with the bullet...but I could have gone without it if I didn't have it.
