Hi...wondering if any mom's have had their doula partially or fully covered by their insurance? I have Humana POS, and have read that they are one of the companies known for reimbursing, just wondering if anyone here has gone through the process, if so, with which insurance company and using which doula service?

I have Tricare and they cover next to nothing, but if cost is the issue, I have been loads of research on low cost Doulas. I can tell you that Get Babied has good prices and also if you can find one in training, they do it for next to nothing or sometimes free. I found one on Craigslist. We havent hired yet because we wantto meet her first, but she is flexible with cost because she is training.
