Trouble TTC

9 dpiui and feeling "normal"

Okay so today I am 9 dpiui and I feel completely normal. I don't know why, and this may be ridiculous but I feel like when I finally get KU I will know. I have no reason for feeling this way because I have never been pregnant, so it's probably silly. However, the lack of "symptoms" are bumming me out :( Anyone in the same boat as me?

Re: 9 dpiui and feeling "normal"

  • It is really too early to be feeling any symptoms. I don't think they really start full force until about 6 weeks.

  • We are having tons of symptoms way too early. My wife as being super sick to her stomach with very sore breasts, feeling full, having uterus pains etc since 1dpiui. This confirms that we had several mature follies, but is also very annoying because we know that it's too early to mean anything. Right now we are on day 8....she's feeling very, very pregnant. I just hope for all that she's gone through in the last week that she really is!

    Good luck to you too!

  • My sister had no clue she was pregnant until after taking a test...she had absolutely no symptoms whatsoever.  Hang in there. You're almost to the end of your 2ww
  • You know though, every month my RE tells me that I may get pg symptoms from my trigger and I NEVER do. Maybe that goes to show me that I may not get any symptoms for a while. I guess looking for symptoms is just something to give me positive vibes OR drive me completely insane!! Haha

  • I can't tell whether I'm pregnant that early, but before I started Clomid, etc., I could tell whether I had a CHANCE at pregnancy because my cycles really sucked, and if I didn't have enough near-period symptoms, I knew that cycle was a bust no matter what.  (I'm thrilled with the response I'm having to the Clomid/Ovidrel/Prometrium because I definitely ovulated well, and I'm getting boob tenderness nice & early, so that means that if I've got a blastocyst coming down the pipe, it has a chance at having something to latch onto, unlike 66% of the time.  On my own, I only have about 3 good quality cycles a year and 5-6 crappy ones.)

9dpo, it's not impossible to have REAL pg symptoms, but it's not likely.  Even those of us who get really tender bewbs wouldn't have much different for a few days, at least, and implantation cramping is very iffy (I had it for sure with 3 of my pgs, giving me a 50% false negatives, and I had similar cramping on several other cycles in which I didn't get PG).

By the time you get serious symptoms, you're usually past a skipped AF and tests are positive.  It's the HCG that really triggers strong symptoms, anyway.

  • When I was pregnant with DS, the only early symptom I had was feeling a little lightheaded at times. I've felt the same way during a couple other cycles this time around, and obviously I wasn't pregnant. I don't think I had sore boobs until I was 5 weeks along and didn't get nauseous until 6 or 7 weeks along. So, don't feel like you're out yet.

  • 2WWs are a bummer. You get symptoms and they make you nuts. You dont and they still make you nuts. I've never been KU either, but from what I hear, symptoms vary woman to woman AND cycle to cycle....and that just makes it all useless until there are two lines. Its just plain cruel! Hang in there a few more days. Sending you LOTS of good vibes!
