First I'd make sure they're the newer BPA-free ones. Then, I'd replace the nipples and inserts and sterilize the other parts. But I would still probably wonder if they had ever been microwaved, etc and feel a bit uneasy using them. Regardless - you need more bottles! We have about 16 now and 4 dishwasher baskets, and it makes my days much easier!

I've bought a bunch of Dr. Brown's on ebay getting ready for the twins and honestly I'm not uneasy about it at all. My other girls are old enough that BPA was in pretty much all bottles. Of course I bought the ones that are BPA free because it is an option now. I replaced the nipples and sterilized the bottles...I'm sure they will be just fine. I'm such a relaxed momma on things like that - there is so much to worry about with babies and I can't worry about everything. Mostly I just needed a good deal on the bottles.

50% of my bottles are hand me downs via yard sales, cousins and friends. I wouldn't hesitate to use them. I also agree you need more bottles. lol I think at your LO's ages we probably had 16-20 bottles! LOL
