Anyone have the Joovy Caboose or Ultralight stroller (sit and stand?)

Just wondering if anyone has purchased or taken the Joovy Caboose or Caboose Ultralight for a test drive?

DD will be 5 when this baby arrives, but she still loves her stroller. She likes to get in and out and walk around, but also needs a rest now and then when we're on all day outings. I also like having somewhere I can put her when she's being difficult and needs to be confined to the stroller to calm down. I think having the sit and stand option for her is ideal. She's way too old/active to do the traditional double stroller thing. I also love that both front and back seats go up to 45 pounds (a must since DD is about 37 pounds as of right now).

Does the stroller maneuver easily? How's the storage basket (looks annoying to access but that may be a sacrifice I'm willing to make)? Sunshade? Ease of use overall? Any other comments?

TIA :)

Does the stroller maneuver easily? Yes it does but I have only tried it with my toddler on the back since #2 is still "in the oven."

How's the storage basket (looks annoying to access but that may be a sacrifice I'm willing to make)? The basket is so-so.  If your toddler is on the back, there would be no way to access it except through a small space on the side.  I haven't played with it much but I also don't use the basket for my diaper bag so for me I will be fine (or so I think).

Sunshade? There is a shade for both the front and back rider.  Neither will cover the child completely but good enough.  Bigger shade than a Maclaren but not as great as a Baby Jogger City Mini.

Ease of use overall? Very user friendly.  Comes with a parent console and carseat attachment so no extra pieces to buy.

Any other comments? Your 5 year old may be a little big (tall) for it.  I would definitely try it out before you buy it.  I am so excited to use it.  I got an amazing deal on amazon and that is why I bought it so soon.  I think for what you need it for, as long as your 5 year old fits, it will be a great stroller.  Definitely the smallest and lighest double stroller out there.

Thank you! I've seen a few used ones for sale (2010 models) for a really good price but I want to try it out in store before I buy it. I'm planning on bringing DD with me to see how comfy the seat is for her and also our infant seat to see if it attaches safely.

We had the Caboose Ultralight.  I bought it used on CL and we took it on 1 trip to Disney and it was a disaster.  DD was still tiny and had to stay in the carseat in the front which meant DS had to ride on the bench on the back.  He HATED it.  We ended up wearing DD the whole time so he could ride up front.  On the last day, we just rented a stroller for him so we didn't have to deal with it.  Came right back home and sold it again on CL for what I paid for it.  So no big loss :-)  I LOVE my city mini double.  Best purchase ever.  Should have gone with it to begin with.
