Anyone use the nuvaring?

I have used it for 2 months since getting my IUD out (had issues with it) and I love the ring. We are ttc soon and so I just took my last one out. DH comes home from the rig for 3 wks on the 12th and so its a go! BUT I am curious if you were on the nuvaring, how quickly after getting off did you get pg? or ovulate.

I can't answer your questions re: TTC after nuvaring, but I will say it is the only BC that did not make me act like a crazy woman! I loved not having to think about taking it every day, and the mood swings were sooo much better than when I took the pill. Good luck TTC!

thanks ladies. I agree, its the only BC that I love so far! I couldnt use it until I was only nursing DD 1 time a day, but its great. I plan on going on it after #3 is old enough. Thanks!

First, I LOVE nuvaring. I suck at remembering to take pills, so this was an awesome option for me. I'm getting my tubes tied during my c-section with this baby, but if I wasn't I'd be going right back to it.

I got pregnant with DD 3 cycles after stopping nuva ring and 8 months (but only 4 or 5 cycles) after stopping it I was pregnant with DS. Right before DS, I was having weird cycles due to thyroid issues though.

I got pregnant the first month off both times, with DD and DS. Both times I took the ring out and had a BFP within 4 weeks. I loved the ring because it was quick and I never had an adjustment period before I started ovulating again.

I love Nuvaring too. I got pregnant 2 cycles after.

Do you know when you O'd? did it happen like a normal cycle? Im asking bc DH comes home the 12th and it looks like if I have a regular cycle I would O the 8th...if I had it a few days later then it would work out for is this month. No rush, but I feel like DH is gone so much we only have the 3 wks he is here to try until end of Sept. Thanks!
