I've had it since before E was born and I can never get it tied around me right. I know it's not because I don't have enough fat to hold the stupid fabric up. Anyone else have this problem? My issue is right after I throw it around my shoulders. I must be doing something wrong.
Don't position it so it stays flat around your waist. I found at first I was positioning the seat belt part (the band around the waist) way too low. When I pull the two pieces of fabric over my shoulders, I pull the seat belt up to just under my bra line where my natural waist sits and tighten. Once I put DS in, I have to adjust a little so he isn't too high, but otherwise I've found I always have too much give when I place it lower.

One thing I always suggest is sliding your hand along the edge (rail) until you have quite a bit of slack, then holding on to that edge as you bring the wrap around your back and over your shoulder. That ensures that the fabrics is not twisted and that it remains spread across your back to distribute you baby's weight evenly. I'll see if i can find you a video.

I second comments about putting it on tighter than you would think. I used my Moby a lot the first couple months and actually looked at the weight limit today. We are good to 35 lbs so I threw it on in the sling hold. Nathan has always had a lot of patience when I put the moby on, I think he knows how much he likes being in it.

Actually that makes sense. I feel like even when I do get E in there, she's slowly sliding down or far to the side and I'm terrified she's going to fall on the ground. I've never even left the house with it.

Did you come here just to show of your skills in your sig?

I think E likes the Bjorn better but that thing (although is the lumbar support one) really hurts my back. I was shocked at how much lighter she feels and less stress on my back, although I'm not wearing it correctly.
I watched YouTube videos on how to wrap it anD within a few minutes I got the hang of it and I can just whip it on now.
Maybe I'm just an idiot. I watched YouTube videos before I even bought it and still can't get it right. I might sell it.
It took practice for me and some holds I couldn't get the first time around. I used it almost daily for awhile so that was how I got comfortable with it.

I like the cozy feel of the wrap but that is preference. The bjorn is easy to throw on quickly. Maybe your bjorn straps are pulled uneven. Look at it in the mirror when you have it on. All my carriers bother me if they are too high on the neck or uneven across the back.
Tie it first before you put baby in it. I found that it was too damn hot to use even in the spring and wasn't good for us after 15 or so lbs, it just sagged too much. You have to just practice.

That's rude.
Yes! I have such a love/hate relationship with this thing. i want so much to love it. And when I can get it on snuggly, I do. But otherwise, I don't.
It does seem a bit better since DS is bigger. I am really thin too and I think that is an issue when it comes to this.

E is almost 22 lbs. How do you wear a baby that big? I have a Moby and that is it.
OP-Have you had someone help you put it on to maybe make suggestions to what they see?
