Sleeping issues

DS hasn't been sleeping well.  I am trying to see if its a stage or if we need to get some kind of reinforcement or method to help him go to sleep.

 

He never has had issues the year but the last two weeks he refuses to sleep without me.  He is not napping very well either.  I have been just laying with him till he falls asleep and he is still waking up a few times a night.

I will take any suggestions or help..
