Accident 1: Peed a river on my mom's freshly cleaned carpets. LOL But he had been in undies for over 4 hours with no accidents at that point.
Accident 2: Peed on our playroom carpet, right next to the potty that I had put there.
Accident 3: Peed while he was out digging in my flowerbeds. He said he was watering my flowers. LOL
He did NOT pee in his car seat at all or when we were out at the garden center. Yay!
He DID pee on the potty by himself because he "wanted privacy".
Didn't poop all day, but he did consent to sitting on the toilet and trying because Daddy let him play Angry Birds.
So out of 4 pairs of underwear and shorts, we ended with one pair clean and dry at the end of the day. I count that as a win. He went to bed in a Pullup, but only because he pees heavily at night and often ends up in OUR bed. :-)
The fact that the underwear was his idea is victory enough on its own.

I agree! I wouldn't even say a word about it tomorrow and see if he chooses it again (IF you want unsolicited advice!)
I think that sounds like a victory, and that you're close. I bet when he actually chooses to "potty train," it will be done as soon as he makes that choice, know what I mean?
Wouldn't that be nice to get them both done at the same time!
From your mouth to God's ears. My goal is to have two kids diaper free by my birthday on Sept. 16th.
DD is pretty interested. She's peeing on the potty first thing most mornings and tells me she needs to poop. Of course it's AFTER she's already gone, but she's getting the idea.

One is at my mom's, but the rest of them are lining her crib, along with the huge stuffed pig that's also in there. There's barely room for her. She wakes up every morning spreadeagled on a pile of pillow pets.
Every time we go to the store, she wants to hold one. "I just hold dem". We went over a friend's house and she tried to abscond with her daughter's mini ladybug.

4 pees in the potty (one at Target!) and one small accident. He fought the first two HARD, but finally folded. Target and when we got home, no problems. He seems to demand privacy for his pees.
One skid mark, but it's been 2 full days since he pooped. He did sit with my mom and try, but he's still scared to poop on any potty. Tomorrow his Cocoa Puffs get spiked with Miralax. LOL
This is going better than I would have expected. Much less laundry.

This is such great progress Lari! I'm so glad for you and for Matthew.

^^LMAO^^
I actually managed to get a half dose into him tonight in a shot of juice. Poor kid is complaining that his tummy hurts. No kidding-- he's been eating normally and hasn't pooped for over 48 hours. Things are getting backed up in there.

Honey, the boy is being bribed with everything in the arsenal.
He had 3 mini candy bars, some new toys from my mom and an ice cream sundae after dinner.
He's being really good about the pee. He's just afraid to poop on the toilet. Once he manages to go once, I am sure that it will be fine, but we need to get over that hump.

Poor guy was SO upset when he had the accident. He was outside and pounded on the garage door. When my mom opened it, he screamed at her to close the door, he wanted mommy. He's really anxious about it. He ended up in our bed at 11:15 last night-- I hadn't even put my book down and gone to sleep yet.

I would count that as a win too! Good luck!
How old is your DD? I wonder if she's going to jump on the PT wagon because M is...? Wouldn't that be nice to get them both done at the same time!

Oh, Jesus. Could you imagine my house with SIXTEEN pillow pets.
Wait. Not sixteen. Nineteen. DS has 4, with one at my mom's.
