pop-up camper question

Are there any campers on the site?  we like to go and have a pop-up. Well we store the pop-up at my IL's... we got it back and popped it up today to clean it out for our trip next week.. it was eaten to pieces by mice!!!

Has anyone had their pop-up canvas redone? any idea on cost? We need new canvas, new beds and new seating (table) cushions.

Re: pop-up camper question

  • Are you sure you don't just want to purchase an awesome travel trailer from a fellow bumpie?

Seriously, though, I'm not sure about getting the canvas redone.  I really do have a travel trailer for sale if you know of anyone who may be interested.  :)

  • Honestly, I don't know, but my inclination is to think that replacing the canvas is going to be costly.  Prices on used pop-ups are so low right now that I have a sneaking suspicion you might be able to buy another pop-up for what the canvas job is going to cost you.  But I could be wrong.  I don't mean to be a negative nellie!

as tempting and as awesome as that sounds.. it's just not in our budget... :( although i really wish i was! it would make me love camping even more then i already do :)

Ive been looking online and talked to some people... seems like we *should* buy a pre-made canvas at around $800-900 then it will cost us another couple hundred to get it installed :(   definitely not what we had in mind for our $200 camping "vacation" lol.

looks like it'll have to wait until tax return time... :(

  • Depending on the size of your pop-up, you are looking at least $800-$900 for the canvas itself.
