The board is slow and I'm bored at work. Here are some names I'm considering adding to my list ? first impressions, comments, and brutal honesty are appreciated:
Della- OK, not too out there, easy to pronounce/spell
Hester- witch
Luna- good witch, but I actually sort of like it
Petra- not pretty to my ears
Florence- like it a lot, would maybe use nn Flora or Flor
Luna is so uber-trendy right now among a certain set that it makes me want to poke my eyes out. I know FOUR Lunas under the age of 3. They're not in the same city, so it's not like they play together, but all of their parents have similar backgrounds and I can easily see at least 2 or 3 more friends of mine considering this name. I will try very hard to sound enthusiastic when the next baby Luna arrives, but since you're asking- don't do it!
I like Petra and Clementine. I prefer the spelling Letizia to how you have it, and also greatly prefer the pronunciations in Spanish and Italian to the English pronunciation.
I prefer Flora to Florence. Florencia is kind of nice, too, but a bit over the top in this country.
Sophronia doesn't look or sound pretty to me. It reminds me of the word "suffer."
Hester the molestor. That's all I can think of.
Gloria, Della, Lavinia and Eunice are not really my style, but not awful.

Nah, but my list has been boring me lately. I still like the names on it (Susanna, Matilda, Antonia, Louisa, Phoebe, etc.), but I feel a bit stuck in a style rut. I'm trying to cast a wider net and see what comes up.
The board is slow and I'm bored at work. Here are some names I'm considering adding to my list ? first impressions, comments, and brutal honesty are appreciated:
Della - Different and cute but I'd prefer Cordellia and use Della or Dellia as a NN
Hester- Where's my scarlet letter?
Luna- Too earth mama for my taste
Petra- Are you from Eastern Europe or Greece?
Florence- Lovely and under used
Gloria- Eh.... okay
Eunice- NO way... it sounds ugly to me
Laetitia - Eh.. okay
Clementine - Adorable!
Lavinia- Eh...okay
Sophronia Eh...
Best friends and sisters... 24 months and 16 months
Personally, I think the names sound a lil old-fashioned or names you'd find in a book/movie.
As other's have said, Hester=Molester.....:( Hester Prynne is the character's name in Nathanial Hawthorne's "The Scarlet Letter". Not sure if I'd want that association with my child.
Hester - I like it, but, I feel like you have to be stunningly gorgeous to pull this name off. ETA: Am I the only person who thinks of Hester Prynne before "Hester the Molester" which I do not think of at all...?

Della
Hester
Luna
Petra
Florence
Gloria
Eunice
Laetitia
Clementine
Lavinia
Sophronia
I like Petra, Clementine and Lavinia. I don't mind Laeticia/Leticia. I feel like it was a pretty popular African American name for a while, but haven't seen it has much recently.
I loooove Octavia. We have that in reserve as a mn if we ever have a baby girl in August or born on the 8th of the month or has some other kind of relevant 8 in her life (8th child? not likely!). My family is too literal for us to go for an Octavia without any "8" connection.
What about Flavia? It's a nice, solid Roman name meaning "golden." I think it goes well with Amalia and isn't as matchy as Aurelia (which means golden as well).
I like Gloria. I've been thinking lately that if I get a female dog, I might name her Hester. I like that name a lot on a dog. On a person, it's a little serious for me. Also, if I get an orange female cat, I might go with Clementine, but it's too cutesy for a person. Luna is a little wacky for my tastes. Petra sounds nice in certain languages, but a little out of place in English, unless you have a cultural background to support it. Della sounds like de la in Spanish. I prefer Delia. The rest are NMS. In particular, Eunice is one of my least old lady favorite names.
I like Clementine and Florence. MIL's MN is Florence, and we've talked about using it as a MN to honour her, or using Flora for the same reason.
Married to my best friend 6/5/10
BFP #1 9/7/10, EDD 5/14/11, Violet born 5/27/11.
BFP #2 4/9/12, EDD 12/16/12, M/C Rory 4/24/12.
BFP #3 10/6/12, EDD 6/16/12., Matilda born 6/17/13.
The board is slow and I'm bored at work. Here are some names I'm considering adding to my list ? first impressions, comments, and brutal honesty are appreciated:
Della: NMS but not bad
Hester: Really terrible. This is just too "grouchy old lady" to sound sweet on a newborn
Luna: Pretty
Petra: LOVE, one of my fav names. Unique and pretty
Florence: not bad
Gloria: Estefan? I don't like
Eunice: This would probably be in the top 5 of my "worst name of all time" picks
Laetitia: NMS, but not bad
Clementine: Like a lot. Pretty and sweet. Becoming more mainstream so it's not a total WTF, but still unique and offbeat
Lavinia: See Laetitia. I think there are better names out there, but not terrible
Sophronia: Too much of a mouthful, and not very pretty sounding

I usually try to find at least one name on people's lists that I can be positive about, but I'm not a fan of any of these. Hester? Please don't do that to your daughter. Most of these sound like old lady names that won't or shouldn't make a comeback. If you are going to choose from this list, Petra are Clementine are okay, and I'm cringing at Florence, but it's a little better than the rest on the list.
Petra- My husband's hispanic grandmother's name. She's a great lady!
Florence- Just "eh" *shrug*
Gloria- Outdated.
Eunice- Taylor Swift's fiddle player/backup singer has this HYSTERICAL alter ego that she does named Eunice. It's really funny...look it up!
Laetitia- Sounds like more of an ethnic name. It's pretty, but sounds weird for a "white" child. I mean that in the nicest way possible without trying to sound racist.
Clementine- Sounds delicious to eat at the moment! NMS.
Lavinia- Okay. NMS.
Sophronia- I would like Sophrina better. Sounds like we're just adding in syllables.

Lavinia - again, no
Sophronia - doesn't sound pretty

Yeah, I've been flirting with classical names lately (Petra, Lavinia, Laetitia, etc.).
Maybe Lucretia? Junia? Octavia?
Unfortunately, they mostly end with -ia and DD already has an -ia name.

I love Della, Luna, Petra, Gloria and Clementine
I can't look at/hear Hester without thinking of "Hester the Molester" from A Prayer fo Owen Meanie. So that's out for me.
The don't like the others, but they aren't terrible.
Good tip on Luna.
Flora's already on the list

My Married Bio
I've always liked Octavia. Junia is okay. Lucretia always sounds like "secretion" to me!

Florence - meh
Gloria - meh
Eunice - -meh
Laetitia - not a fan
Clementine - kinda cute..
Lavinia - eek
Sophronia -?
LOVE Hester, Petra, Gloria, Clementine (especially Clementine).
Like Della and Lavinia.
Luna - I've never liked. I know it's got the whole moon thing going, but all I think of is "lunatic."
Florence - too old lady, even for my taste.
Eunice - you can't do this to a child. Seriously.
Laetitia - I know it's a real name, but it looks like a mindf*ck. Still not sure how to say it...
Sophronia - I'm with the ladies at Nameberry. It's just an unnecessarily clunky verson of Sophia. And Sophia's still prettier.
when i heard my best friend tell me his daughter's name is Luna, i fell in love with it! i just wish they hadn't used it so i could have
i love florence, and clementine, but not a huge fan of the others.

Yeah, I actually thought that this post was going to be about bad names after I read the title.
As a PP said, I usually try to find a name on everyone's list that I can get behind, but Im just unable to do that in this situation.
Good luck...
Hester- mean old lady.
Luna- Luna Lovegood on Harry Potter?
Petra- My husband's hispanic grandmother's name. She's a great lady!
Florence- Just "eh" *shrug*
