Ball pit

Has anyone made a ball pit using a blow up pool? How many balls need it take to fill it and what size was your pool? I am trying to do a ball pit for DS bday and can't figure out how many ball to order. TIA

    I have a little blow up ball pit that's the size of one of those hard plastic kiddie pools (like six inches tall, maybe 3 feet across).  100 balls fills it TO THE BRIM.  so depending on the size pool you have....
