If you were to google "build a bear binky" you'd see a million posts about it. Basically, you take your child to BAB and when the bear is being made, you stuff the binky inside. That way your child will technically still have binky with them at bedtime, but not in their mouth - basically a fun way to ditch the binky cold turkey. Some parents say it really worked -- that the kid loved the new toy they created.
I'm just trying to figure out if it's better if she feels it in the paws or if it should be in the bear's belly. I'm wondering if it's in the paws if it will drive her crazy cause it's easy to feel..
I thought DD would love that she could still feel them. But really, she never cared once they were in there. She also never really got super attached to the bear. I thought I would have to rip it out of her hands each day, but she didn't really care.
However, the method did work really well! I had started talking about it, and how we would do it at the mall, and one day she woke up from nap saying "I want to go to BAB at the mall! And put my pacs in!!" And then it was done. One night of some crying, and that's it!
