Trying to Get Pregnant

High, Soft, Closed cervix an uncommon position for day 27 and other oddities?

My cycle started July 1st. We BD on 10th and I ovulated between the 12th and 13th. We are neither TTC nor TTA. We believe it will happen when it happens. My cervix is high, soft and closed. Normally it is low and hard by day 25. I have a regular 28-29 day cycle. My CM is abundant, slightly white and slippery and I am normally dry by this time.

I took an early response test yesterday and it was negative. I won't be able to get back to the pharmacy until Tuesday (Camping). THAT IS A LONG TIME TO WAIT! Wish I hadn't been so eager and kept the test until Sat. but it did say early response so...

Anyways, I'd really appreciate any ideas or personal experiences. "You'll have to wait to test to know for sure." Doesn't count, I know that, I'm just looking for more information.

Thank you!

  • Lol. We left yesterday and I did after the negative test. Hoping I don't need them.

  • I checked CP all last cycle and two days before my period started, it was high and soft. I got excited thinking it was a good thing, but...

Obviously I'm still here. CP isn't a good indication of pregnancy.

GL and have a fun camping trip!

I read that as "cramping" and was thinking why would cramps keep you from going to the store until Tuesday!  Not sure about your CP...was it also high and soft when you thought you O'd earlier in the cycle?
