My baby girl has been solid food for about a few weeks. We started with rice cereal, added applesauce in week 2, sweet potatoes week 3 and this week, peas. She was having very poopy diapers every day and then it changed to every other day. I backed off on the applesauce because I heard it can be binding. For the past two days I've added a small scoop of prunes to her meals. It's day 3 and still nothing! She's a little gassy but not in any distress or acting differently than normal. I read that some babies can go a week with a dirty, once solids are started. That doesn't sound healthy to me. Before I call the pedi, can anyone tell me if this is normal? Or should I be super worried?! Thanks!
Re: Solid foods and dirty diapers (not having any!)
Thanks! We have been giving her water after each meal but I'll start giving her more throughout the day. Glad your LO is okay!
