Sadly saying goodbye...

I don't know if you remember my post about the NT scan on Monday but it didn't go well.  We had a CVS done and the FISH test came back with multiple complications.  This has been a very exhausting and long day... and I know A LOT of people will disagree with my husband's and my decision, but we decided to move forward with a D&E.  I had the first part of the procedure done this afternoon. 

This isn't something we jumped in to.. after speaking with the doctor and learning how much our little girl (we also found out the sex) had wrong, she didn't have a strong chance of surviving.  We are taking the heartbreak now rather than later...

Good luck to each and everyone of you and I wish you all a Happy and Healthy rest of your pregnancy.  I am so happy to have met you all.

I am so sorry it turned out that way  DH and I agreed that if our tests didn't come back with positive results we would do the same.  I had a cousin diagnosed with muscular dystrophy when he was 3 and he just passed 2 months ago (he was 21).  He had a very hard life and so did our family.  I could never go through with a pregnancy knowing that my child would have some sort of disease or syndrome.  It is not fair to the child and yourself know that your child will not have a good quality of life.  Again, I am so sorry and you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  Take care of yourself
