AW: Nursery pictures!

It's done and I love it!  When we get the bedding and some other accents there will be much more purple in the mix.  For now it is mostly green (because of the walls) and the adorable carpet is multicolored.  The furniture looks much darker in the pictures.  It's cherry, not black or espresso.  My sister and DH did the butterfly decals today.  I love them, especially since they're in a few places where she can look at them and interest herself, like by the crib and the changing station.

Beautiful!! I LOVE the carpet - it goes so well with everything and I think it pulls it all together. And love the butterflies!

We decided on a few things together.  The walls would be neutral (we picked green, DH and sis picked the specific color) and we decided on purple and butterfly accents.  We also picked out the furniture together.  I had no idea how it was going to be arranged, or all the extra things they did like the decals and the closet and how meticulously my sister caulked the moulding because she didn't want her neice getting her fingers caught in any cracks.  The room has had "Caution" tape around the door for at least a month.  I haven't seen it since right before the last of the boxes from the move came out of there.

They were SO adamant about keeping it hidden from me til it was done.  I was so tempted to peek but I resisted!  I have no idea what I'm doing for my sister to show my thanks.  For starters with DH, I got up early with him (5AM, but I was having trouble falling back asleep from a little earlier anyway) and made him bacon and eggs, packed his lunch, and gave him a lift to the train station.  I want to do a lot more for them both.  I love the room so much and I know they worked so hard.
