Testing prepped diapers

I have been prepping some PFs and want to make sure that I have done it right before they actually have to go into action/I keep prepping diapers. I have read in the past that you can pour water on them to test, but can't remember the specifics... If anyone knows what I'm talking about, or has their own way to test I would love to hear! Much thanks!

If they are well prepped they will look super quilty and fluffy. Pour a little water on it and if soaks in right away it is good to go.  If it rolls off or takes a while to soak in keep on washing.
