I'm happy to report that after my meeting with the school director, and her meeting with the teacher, things have been much, much, better. Apparently, I was not the first parent to complain so they had a big meeting with her. I think it was more of a situation where the teacher just became complacent, or lazy really, with her job and her duties as a teacher. She apologized and went on to say how much she loved Cassie and how well-behaved she was in her class.
And in other news......I'm happy to report that after almost 1 year of ttc, and our first round of clomid, I got a BFP this morning I thought it was too early to test, but DH insisted, and sure enough, he was right! Please keep quiet if we are friends on fb
Re: update on Cassie's school situation
I've been thinking about you and wondered what happened to the daycare situation. Glad to hear you got that sorted out!!
OMG! Congratulations. What a fantastic news. Cassie's going to be a great big sister :-).
I have to add you on FB!
Congrats! So happy for you!!
And that is great to hear about her teacher. I hope the changes continue, but it is a great sign that the director took your concerns seriously and it lead to immediate change.
Thanks ladies I hadn't been around to give an update because I was feeling "blah" about this whole ttc & clomid thing and for some reason, I tend to disconnect myself from the rest of the world when I'm feeling like this.
Even though we conceived Cassie very easily and had an easy pregnancy, I'm still very cautious about this one for some reason. And this morning, I found myself feeling a bit sad for Cassie, is this normal when you add a sibling? Or maybe hormones???

Congratulations on your BFP!!!!!!! That's so exciting!
In regards to disconnecting from the rest of the world, I completely understand! I do this as well.
When I found out I was pregnant I felt so guilty that I was taking away something from Elyse. I have other friends who have felt this way as well so I think it's a normal feeling. I was talking to my mom about it and she reminded me that I was giving Elyse a life long gift of a sibling.

BIG CONGRATS on your BFP! I am so happy for you...I know you've been trying for a while, so this is extra special, no doubt! Wishing you a healthy and happy pregnancy! Cassie's going to be a great big sister!
When I got my BFP this time around I felt the mixed emotions of joy for a new little one and sadness for Libby who will have to adjust to life as not an only anymore. That said, there's MORE love to go around with two (or more) and as Teri said, they'll be life long companions!
Hooray for improvement at Cassie's school...so glad you spoke up! Hopefully that teacher is on notice now...especially with all the parent watching via video!

wow!! congrats so happy for you. I'd been wondering about how that was going but didn't want to ask b/c I know how that can feel to have people asking you all the time - it can be emotional for sure. as for the sadness....sounds like what you're feeling is normal for a 2nd PG (though of course i have no first hand experience of this) - i hope it's physically ok and you don't get bad m/s. wishing you a happy & healthy 9 months!
yes! often you don't get to see such direct changes from parent feedback so that's great that they were open to discussing it and took your concerns seriously!
