should i get 2 cribs or one? i am due to have my c-section on 6 weeks so i am kinda late on asking. we have one crib, but thought we might need 2. thanks in advance for your replies...
well you might get away with it for awhile (mine slept together until they were approx 3 months old) but they grow really fast and there just isn't room for two in there for long!
We only had one crib until they were 5 months old. We kept them swaddled and laid them short-wise in the crib so they were never near each other. Once they started moving around, we bought a 2nd crib. We bought the Graco Lauren from Wal-mart and it was shipped to us in 4 days.

This exactly..we just seperated ours into seperate cribs last week.

Ditto. At 3 mo, when they started rolling over and could get to the other, I switched them to separate cribs. Right now, they are so mobile, there is no way they would sleep the night if they were together.

Yeah...like PPs said, you'll be able to get away with it for a while, but eventually they'll start wriggling so much that they'll run in to each other while they sleep...then nobody will be sleeping anymore.
Mine shared until I went back to work at 12 weeks.
2, yes. We seperated them around three months too. Although, at some point you can put them back together for a nap or two. :points down: So long as they don't start fighting, it's adorable!

You are definitely going to need 2 cribs at one time or another, it all depends on how long you allow them to sleep together. My twins only slept together for a month because we realized they slept better separately.

We have two cribs, our babies never slept together due to it being a SIDS risk.
This, the NICU doctors were very firm on us having 2 cribs and not letting them co-sleep. They scared me.

We had the girls sleeping in the Fisher Price RnP sleepers for the first 3 months and then we moved them to separate cribs, but we had 2 cribs from the start.
Two cribs worked out great for my fraternal boy twins. They slept in the bassinet of the pack n play together in my bedroom until they were 6 weeks. @ 6 wks we seperated them into the two cribs in their room. They were hitting one another in the pack n play and waking one another up. The boys are 21 mo old now and finally really good sleepers. Finally!

You will need 2. Two 18 month olds won't fit in the same bed.
