Intro & another post about Kaiser midwives (sorry)
Hi gals,
First of all, I'm so glad to find an Oregon board. I'm from Portland/Eugene, left for the past three years pursuing grad school and a job in California and am now moving back home 24 weeks into my pregnancy. All of our family and friends are in Oregon and we're so glad to be coming home. The move has been stressful (and my goodness, Portland rent has gone up considerably since I last lived there in 2004!) but I'm really looking forward to being home. We move in to our new house in SE (Lents-ish) in one week - I can hardly wait.
I will be starting with Kaiser (and possibly continue throughout my delivery) and noticed a few posts below mentioning recommendations for Kaiser midwives. Today I called to set up my first appointment and was offered multiple appointments with Mary Craft; since it didn't sound like you all had good experiences with her I asked for a different provider and got set up with a Susan Gervosi? Any thoughts on her?
