Worried after multiple losses

I am 12w2days pregnant.  I have an almost 3 year old little girl.  We've had 2 miscarriages since her birth, one at 13 weeks (partial molar) and one at 6 weeks (blighted ovum).  I am terrified of another loss and nothing seems to be easing my fears!  We've had four ultrasounds (last one at 9w6days) and saw the heartbeat in all four.  This waiting between appts is killing me!  To make maters worse, my good friend just suffered a miscarriage and was due just a few days before me.  Wishing I could get some reassurance!!

I have had 4 miscarriages before my daughter was born. I will honestly tell you that with this pregnancy and my daughters I was scared to death. I just kept praying and reminding myself that everyday that I finished meant the closer I made it to delivering this baby. Just remind yourself take it one day at a time.  Its really scary, if you need anything feel free to message me.

I think that fear is normal. I've never had a loss, but my SIL miscarried twice at 16 weeks and I just am on pins and needles to get past that date. I know it's not even a date that REALLY applies to me, but it's a creepy magic number now. Every time I go for an appointment I am positively freaked out, and then things are wonderful.

It sounds like your appointments have been going well so far. Perhaps, due to the miscarriages your doctor can get you in for more frequent check-ins to make sure things are going well. You may also want to get the doppler so that you can have a daily dose of 'peace of mind'. I'll keep positive thoughts headed your way that this baby is the one. :-)
