Need help on names to go with Arthur!!

Hi, we are looking for a first name to go with Arthur as a middle name. Arthur is not my fav, but is DH's grandfather who passed away this year.

 

The names I like are Jonah, Eli (Elias), Ronan - but I don't think any of those names go. Any ideas? We were going to use Aaron as a middle, but hubby wants to honor his GF.

    I love the name Jonah, but I dislike how the "a" sound in Jonah butts up against the "a" sound in Arthur, I feel like it sounds choppy.

    What about Roman Arthur? Just a thought :) FWIW, I think it's sweet you are using a name with meaning behind it. Your DHs grandfather would be so honored! :)

    Thank you!  I know he would be honored and my DH will be also.  I like Roman... DH likes Ronan so may be a nice compromise. I also feel the same about Jonah, but don't mind it that much.  Thanks again!

    I like Ronan Arthur.  Others I can think of:

    Henry, Elliot, Graham, Jude, Lucas, Jordan, Caleb, Thomas, Mitchell

    I really like Ronan Arthur

    FWIW my brother is Thomas Arthur and my cousin's son is Jackson Arthur (both in honor of my grandfather Arthur) and they both sound great with it.

    Nolan Arthur (my DS's name) Nolan sort of sounds like Ronan.
