I stopped nursing last month but stayed on the mini pill through this month. I'm switching in about 2 weeks. Apparently about 50% of people ovulate on the mini pill. I recognize the signs and have been ovulating for about two cycles. So about a week ago, I messed up my mini pill. I think I took two on one day and then none the next. This was right before mid cycle. I know...I'm a genius. You don't have to tell me. Anyway, I was reading something about the mini pill and found something else that said if you do get pg, you are more likely to have an ectopic pregnancy. I'd already come to terms with possible pg but now I'm worried about ectopic pregnancy. That sounds so scary. This is what googling gets you but lots of reliable sources mentioned it. And I've been having all of this abdominal cramping feeling but it is too early to have a positive test. I've got about a week. I just hate being worked up and worried and probably for no good reason and all I can do is wait.

Re: I'm having major pregnancy paranoia. Talk me through it
I would be worrying like crazy too, BUT most likely if you did have an ectopic, then you wouldnt feel pain until about the time you would get a BFP, so I wouldnt stress about that too much, the abdominal pain is probably just pre period stuff. Definitely stay away from google. You can find anything that you want to hear, or not want to hear, on google. I think your pervious experience getting pg so quickly and while nursing has made you worried, hang in there. You'll know yes or no in a week, and I bet its a neg.
