How far along??

So I really don't know about how far along I am because my last period was kinda not a period at all. My last regular period which was a normal flow and length was May 23rd but I did have a day of light bleeding June 22nd.......soooo how far along am I? Which one do I go by?

The nurse at the Naval clinic who took my blood for the pregnancy test went by the regular period in May.

Hmmm well... you're either four weeks or 8.  I'd probably stick with what the nurse says until an ultrasound proves otherwise... and if it does date you back four weeks, don't freak out!

If you only has bleeding for a day in June, my guess is it was just spotting, not a period. If it was May 23, then we have the same due date!

I agree with PP, that one day of bleeding in June was probably just spotting, maybe implantation.  You're probably about 9 weeks.  Congrats.

They might get you in for a dating u/s to give your a more accurate due date based on the situation.  This post actually made me realize that my last period was not really a period at all....I can't believe I didn't remember that until just now.  Now I'm wondering if I'm 4 weeks ahead of where I thought I was

I made my 1st prenatal appointment and it's next Thursday at 9am! She said they will definitely be doing a u/s to find out for sure how far I am!! I can't wait!!!

It sounds like implantation bleeding in June, which would make you further along.  You'd find out for sure at the u/s.  Typically implantation bleeding is very light and doesn't last long at all. (For me it was about half a day)

The day of bleeding in June was regular period bleeding and bright red but it quickly turned that darker red/brown color and was gone by the next day.
