Baby Names

From Facebook

Mom Harlee names her new daughter Paisley.

Re: From Facebook

  • Eeeek. There was a Paisley on T&T last week, too. Yuck. I really love it for my dog, but she's a dog, not a human that has to go through life with that.

  • My niece just named her daughter Pacey - she claims it is a shortened version of Paisley. Makes the latter a gorgeous name in comparison, IMO.

  • What will the next kids be named?  Plaid?  Polka Dot?  Houndstooth?  Seriously, people, it's best known as the name of a fabric pattern.

I guess you could argue that it's also a last name and a place name, but it's not like those facts make a better case for turning it into a first name.

  • Names after patterns...hmmm...perhaps we will soon see "Stripes" or "Corduroy" or "Houndstooth" haha

  • Paisley is a pattern, not a name!  Next year we'll hear of babies named "Plaid" and "Toile".
