Did anyone have to do a 2 hr GTT after failing 1 & 3 hour? I just did.

I'm a little confused lol.  I got a 140 on my 1 hour so they had me do the 3 hour last week, I also got a 140 on my 3 hour and they said that anything 140 and up was a fail so they sent me the lovely GD diet to start following which I have been.  They also wanted me to come in for one for test the nurse said I wouldn't have to drink that nasty stuff again but to my surprise when I got there this morning after fasting, Again, they took my blood and had me drink that nasty orange crap and sit for 2 hours and do my blood again.  I asked the person doing my blood if at this point my fate could change by passing this one and he said that it didn't make a difference, Then why the **** are they having me do this again, for fun?  I have had to drink that crap a total of 3 times now!!!  Ick!  Just curious if this is normal because it didn't make much sense to me.  I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow and hopefully he will have a good reason.

    That doesn't make much sense to me.  Sorry you are having to drink it again.  Isn't 140 so borderline!?  That stinks!  I was told above 140 is failing.  I had 141 and then passed the 3 hr on Monday.  I'd be confused too, if I were you.  GL!

    That doesn't make much sense.  I hope your Dr is able to give you a good reason for this.

    Unfortunately diff docs take different stances  Some could even go below the 140 and make u take the 3hr.  It depends on how your doc looks at it.

    Praying I get to that stage and pass.
