Can you return to Kohls w/o receipt?

I know Kohls sells Carters stuff, so I figure I would try there.   I got a cute one piece shorts set for Ava and there is no way she will fit into it this summer.   It is size 9 months which she will be in December.   The only thing I can hope for is that she fits into it next summer,  but I don't think I want my 16 month old wearing 9 month clothing (I'd be worried that she's not growing properly).  

The person didn't give me a receipt, but I know Kohls has Carter's stuff there.  Do you think I could return it for credit or even exchange?  I could get the same outfit in an appropriate size.

yep!  if it is one that they have carried...but you will get whatever the lowest price it has been on sale for.  If they have that same outfit in the size you need, that would probably be the best bet

I'm certain you can.  They're whole return policy is that you can return 'anything for any reason at any time'.  They'll absolutely let you exchange or give you store credit.

Yep, they are one of the only stores that allow you to do that. I'm going to be returning a dress that my grandmother's cousin bought for DD... we don't seem to have the same taste in clothes Even if I get a few dollars for it, I'd rather put it towards something she can actually wear!

Yes you can! Also I found Carter's to be really good about returns too! 

 

JCP and Macy's also might be another place to consider!
