So I thought I would say hi! I'm mostly on the Knot planning my wedding, but I do have a 10 month old. It just like..clicked that in 46 DAYS she will be one. Anyway on to my question...She is a BITTER. Is that normal for her to want to bite me when she gives me a kiss, and how can I stop it?Thanks for the advice!

    Hi and Welcome. She is probably teething but doesn't know better. Your best bet is to redirect her attention. When Aubrey bites, I pull her off, tell her 'No' firmly, and hand her a toy and sit her butt on the floor.

    DS was a biter.  Every time he bit me, I pulled him away, whether he was nursing, kisses, or my arm or leg.  I usually said, "no biting" and tried to distract him.  He usually looked at me with a bit of shock but he eventually stopped.  I guess repetitive reaction was my best to get him to stop.
