Speaking of ergo

Does anyone here have an ergo? Are they as comfortable as they claim? Know of any stores that let you try them on in the south bay? I want one but not sure I can justify spending that much unless we will really love it. Guess I should watch babysteals more closely.

Re: Speaking of ergo

  • I love my ergo.  It's amazingly comfortable and easy to put on.  They have them at Buy Buy Baby in San Jose...you can try them on there.

  • Another Ergo lover here!!  (You have a PM)...

  • I love mine as well - totally worth it!
  • By far, the ergo was one of the most loved and used baby gear items in our house!!
  • I have a beco for sale in South San Jose.  It's black.  I've only used it to try on.  It just doesn't fit me (as much as I've tried)
  • Yes they are. Also check out tiny tots in Campbell. They have all kinds of carreirs and you can see which one works best on your build

  • I love my Ergo too. Totally worth the $$$. Although the little ones cannot face out like in a Beco. I knew nothing about the Beco until after I bought my Ergo, I wish I did b/c I probably would have gone that route.

  • I got my Ergo on BabySteals for about $60.  It has come up twice on there in the last 22 or so weeks (I know I've seen it twice since PG, and I believe I bought it when I was around 14 weeks).

Yep, I got my Ergo Sport on Baby Steals for $60, and it has come up twice more since I got mine (less than 6 months ago).   I would definitely recommend the Sport version because it has a cooler fabric than the original or organic.  Keeping cool while babywearing is a big priority for The Husband and myself, and we find the Ergo to be very comfortable.
