Any other single moms here?

I know that it seems strange to say I'm a single mom with 2u2. My boyfriend and I broke up before I found out I was pregnant with LO #2 and he moved back to Louisiana (I'm in California) so I'm a single mom.  I am unemployed so I'm at home all day alone. I do have my mom but we're at odds most times (we're living with her). I was just wondering how others were handling this.

Im not, but I give you a lot of credit. Dh is gone for weeks at a time, and its hard for me. I can't imagine what you go through. I hope you can connect with some other single moms.

I'm not a single Mom yet, but on the verge.  Coming to terms with the fact that I've been in an emotionally abusive relationship for the past almost 4 years.  I have two boys- 1 & 2 that are not quite 13 months apart.  Check out the "Single Parents" board!

I am not but my husband works a lot and we don't have family down here so I'm by myself with the kids most of the time and feel like a single mom sometimes. That's a blessing your mom is there to help. Your two are adorable. Stay strong and I hope you can find a mommy group locally or virtually in your exact same situation soon. Good luck!

I am not but it sure is a blessing that your mom has taken you guys in.  I would defiantly be very grateful for that and try not to be at odds most of the time....

I'm not, but I wanted to come in and give you a round of applause because I cannot imagine how difficult that is.  DH is going on a work trip for two weeks at the end of August and I'm freaking out just about that.  You are a superstar.
