C-section scar?..

How does it feel when you touch it? Mine does not feel "numb,  and it feels hard. The tissue around the scar feels hard. I was wondering if I am the only one who feels like this. 

I guess its scar tissue but I wanted to know if i have a lot more than everyone else.

A guy friend f mine has a similar scar because he just had part of his colon removed and his does not feel hard at all! I know its not the same, but its also not to different. (same location and size)

When did you have the csection?  Mine took about 6 weeks to go away.  Now it is numbish... but not hard.

I had my c-section 10 weeks ago and my incision is definitely still hard.

June 9th (almost 7 weeks) but i think i may have started walking to soon or something. I got on the treadmill about 7 days PP. all i did was walk but it just seems so hard. 

I had my 6 wk pp visit and the doctor said nothing about it. HOnestly i forgot to ask because LO was screaming and I couldn't concentrate on myself.

Im glad Im not alone, I'm am starting to freak out. (I normally do) I saw a show yesterday that the mother had to get a vertical c-section with her second child because she had to much scar tissue so i have been really worrying that I over did it and that I messed it up.

You might have fluid behind the scar.  Either way, check with your doc... they can do something for you.  My husband has gotten moles removed and the scar tissue was hard.  They were able to give him shots of cortizol i think to help.  BTW we should schedule something!  I live in Columbia.  If you want, my email is snoopy5512 at aol.

I had mine a few days after you had yours and mine is definitely still hard. My doctor told me to massage it as often as I remember to. Now you have me freaked out with the vertical incision comment!

I think I saw that same show!  On TLC?  Mine is definitely numb and hard on the corners, but has finally started to feel soft in the middle of the scar.  It has taken almost 9 weeks though to start softening.

i'm 11 weeks pp and my scar is still hard and numb. i've been to my ob and the wound care clinic (i had a hematoma that busted my incision open and had to have it packed and checked each week) and both doctor's said it's fine and that's normal.

I'm just over 10 weeks and mine is still hard. I am definitely not worried about it, with my knee surgery it took months before the scar softened.

Does anyone have pain around the scar? Sometimes I get a weird almost stabbing like pain. It's only been happening since I started working out a lot again. I'm 11 weeks PP

 I'm also 11 weeks PP and I get some stabbing pain behind the incision site. It only happens when I exercise (which I just started doing) or if my LO kicks me there or one of my cats walk across it.Generally though there is no pain.

 As far as how it feels, it's been soft for a long time but definitely still numb around the entire area.

YES! hahah and then i started to get very worried!
